NI has announced an upgrade for Symphobia and project SAM brass to Kontakt player 2.2.5. Will the install of KP 2.2.5 affect VDL? Can I use VDL with this upgrade? I love VDL and don't want to lose it. All help appreciated.

Hi Reberclark,
I have been running KP 2.2.5 since December with no issues on any Garritan products or VDL2.5.
Chris Hein Horns Vol.2 requires 2.2.5 and it is unfortunate that that only libraries with issues related to this version of the player is CHH 1.5 & 2.0. The issue is that 2.2.5 introduces incredibly slow loading for both of these libraries.
Chris Hein provided great support through Best Service and sent me some updated files that corrected the issue. I am not sure if the latest version of 2.2.5 has these fixes already. But as mentioned there was no negative effect with VDL2.5
