OT - Sibelius playback problem

Hi guys,

I've posted this over at the Sibelius Forum too, but figured someone might see it here first and know the answer:

";I'm working in a band score that combines GPO and Sib Sound Essentials. At one point in the score, everyone is playing two or three whole notes that are tied together (some parts start holding the long tone earlier than others). All parts, however, should release at the same time (tied across to an 8th note).

The problem is that some of the instruments are cutting out early, making for a really ragged (and incorrect) release.

Slurs are involved -- all carry across to the release; not all instruments have slurs.

If I start the score on the last two measure before the release, the playback is fine. Three measures? No problem. Four measures and beyond is when this occurs.

I tried searching the forum, but could not for some reason, so I apologize if this has been covered before.

Here are my specs:
iMac with OS X (10.5.7)
3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Sibelius 5.2.5";
I believe that is probably because some of the sounds in GPO are not ";looped";, so to speak.  I don't have GPO, so I can't offer a solution, however does the collection contain looped sounds?

Another option would be to use a slur to re-attack before the samples end and adjust the slurs to look like ties. That's what I do in VDL if I have a timpani roll that ends with a regularly articulated release.
That's a pretty good duct tape solution. Thanks! If I hear anything from the Sibelius forum, I'll be sure to post it here, too.
Well you know what they say, duct tape fixes everything.
