I've gone through all of Jim's tutorials, which are excellent, but can't seem to get the playback working correctly.  In November of 2008 I went through the same videos and eventually was able to update an old score so that it worked with VDL and the sounds all played back correctly.

Problem:  I updated to VDL Template 5.2.5.  I've completed all the steps up to add instruments (like in the tutorial; Snare Lite, Tenor Lite, Bass Lite) but the instruments won't load.  It gives me the following error ";KontaktPlayer2 - File was not found - Please check if Library is installed correctly";

I'm not sure where to go from here.

Using MacBook Pro, Sibelius 5.2.5

Did you choose the 5.2.5 sound set not the Virtual Drumline 2.5 sound set? Sounds like you might have chosen the wrong sound set.

Yeah, I have the 5.2.5 sound set selected just as Jim does in the tutorial.  When I select instruments, though, it doesn't load anything.  It just gives me the Kontakt Player 2 library error.

Have you dragged the actual .nkx files into the VDL folder? Those are the files that are over 1GB in size.

Yep, all the .nkx files are in the VDL folder.

Check in Kontakt Player 2 to see if the library path is correct as depicted in the attached images. Click on info on for VDL2 then check out the library path. That should be where the Instruments folder is, containing all of the instrument groups.
