Just got it and need some help using it, running it, getting the sounds on it.  I'm a newbie so please be kind.  I've loaded both programs, but don't know what I'm doing.  Can someone please help with step by step instructions.  I'm on a PC.

That's a pretty vague question. Which version of Sibelius bare you using? If you haven't purchased/downloaded it already, you'll need an appropriate template. The one for Sibelius 5.2.5 is [url=https://www.tapspace.com/Sibelius-VDL-Template-525-pr-75.html]here[/url] and the rest (5.2 and below) are [url=https://www.tapspace.com/Downloads-Updates-p-2.html#SibeliusTemplates]here[/url].

1) Read the read me that came with the software.

2) Watch these videos: https://www.tapspace.com/pages.php?pageid=29

3) Try using the search box at the top if you don't understand something. Chances are, if you are having trouble, some one else has had the same problem before, and has received an answer to their problem.

I just got Sibelius 6 and VDL 2.5

Does this make a difference. Sorry for all the questios.

There will be a Sibelius 6.0 (Not Sibelius 2006) template coming in the not too distant future, but if you wanted to get up and running immediately, you can use the Sibelius 5.2.5 Template with this modification: https://www.tapspace.com/forums/index.php?topic=3167.msg16730#msg16730

Other than that, the setup process is identical to Sibelius 5.
