AU Lab does not find VDL2 for me to load as an audio unit. I had run the full installation of VDL2 and later re-installed the audio unit to be sure.
So far, VDL2 works finale with finale directly, but AU Lab won't find it. Is this due to the fact that VDL2 is not intel processor friendly?
Macbook Intel duo core
Leopard 10.5.6
VDL2
Finale 2008

Not sure if this will help you or not as it is an older post (pre Intel Macs, I believe), but give it a look...
