For those of you that use a portable power source to mic your pit.  What kind of generator or portable power source do you reccomend and how much wattage do I really need?  Thanks

    We us a Yamaha EF3000iSE inverter generator for our electronics.  It is a bit on the pricey side but it is super quiet.  We actually start it at the gate so that the mixer, synths, and other electronics are up and running before we even move on.  I'm pretty sure it's more power than we need but on the flip side we've never had any problems with it.  Hope this helps. -Ian

We have a portable 1500W battery with AC outlets built in. First performance with the device is tonight, but it was lasting for 4-6 hours of use at band camp. It's powering a keyboard amp, a bass amp, and a 12-channel analogue mixer.
