Practice Pads

Hey folks,

What's everybody using/recommending out there for at home practice pads? I love the IP pads and will recommend them to all my students, but what about the tenor practice pads? What are the pros/cons to the different makes and models (Yamaha, Vic Firth, Pro Mark) tenor pads?

I've always been a fan of the Heavy Hitter pads. I still have one from the original production done by Bill and Co. in their garage. The Xymox pad is also not too bad either.  As far as snare pads go, I personally love the new System Blue pad from Promark (Xymox).

Doesn't Murray have a tenor pad?
I only saw Yamaha, ProMark, and Vic Firth on the Lone Star Percussion site. If Murray has one out... here comes a Google search I guess:)
I guess it's the Vega tenor pad now, also System Blue it seems.
Awesome, thanks:)
Dude, have you seen the Xymox 3 Octave Mallet Pad? Listening to the description sounds like a bell kit but not as loud.

If anybody out there has used these before, I would be interested to know how they sound

Hey, someone should market a pad with a pitch-adjusting pedal on it.

And maybe like a cup holder.

If it's good enough for BanishedBeyond, it's good enough for me.
