There have been marching bands who have done shows where the color guard becomes part of the field, so to speak, but this takes it to a whole new level.
Just watched it again - definitely right there with you on the cheesy grin.

Did anyone else notice that at the beginning of the video OK GO is 'marching' on the 2 and 4. That was funny. Later they are 'in step' with the band.

Yeah, it was definitely a little off kilter, and I think the drummer is to blame for his funky entrance. However, I'm sure that was planned.
