Just thought that there might be some people on here from DFW that would be interested in knowing about this concert tonight... Lyle Mays and the UNT 1 O'Clock Lab Band, as well as Lyle Mays and the Faculty Jazz ensemble. There are some killer mallet parts (me ;)) as well as some really cool arrangements of Pat Metheny Group tunes like Heat of the Day and Long Life, as well as some Lyle Mays original big band charts.

Hope some of you can make it! I'd buy tickets ASAP, as these bigger concerts tend to sell out.
