VDL updates....VDL on a new computer

Well, here is my question:

I purchased VDL 2.0, then upgraded to 2.5 when it was released.  I run 2 Macs (laptop and desktop).  I have noticed that the KP2 installer does not function well with Mac OS 10.5.  And will therefore assume it works just as poor, if not worse with Mac OS 10.6.

Last week I purchased a 27"; 2.66Ghz Quad Core i5 iMac with 4 GB of RAM.  I recently installed Sibelius on my new machine (had to format my older iMac), and am debating about what a pain it is to try and install VDL 2.5 with the poor version of the KP installer.

I am wondering if there is any new and better ways to get VDL to install properly on Snow Leopard?  Or if there is a plan to release a VDL 3 in the next 2-3 months.  If a version 3 is in the wings, I will wait for the upgrade, and use my MacBook Pro as the main music machine, if not I will have to install VDL on my new iMac.

Any helpful suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Take care,
Robby
Sound like you need to be using the Leopard installer:

Bryan,

Thanks for the work.  It installed without a hitch.  I was done in about 15-20 minutes.  I remember from the past installing everything on my MacBook Pro, I spent about 1 hour getting everything to install the right way.  I think my issue in the past was not having the Leopard installer.

Thanks again for the rapid response!
