Hello,

I have been doing some arranging using the VDL sounds on Sibelius 6 and I have never had a problem with it not working. Well, I finished a show book last week and took time off of Sibelius until today and now the sounds are not loading. The Kontakt box is showing up in Sibelius but is not loading the sounds as it once did. I am at a loss. I just recently bought this laptop new in May and I am running Windows 7. As I said before, everything was working great til today. Also note that I have done nothing to the current settings nor have I moved around files. It is the same way it was a week ago. Any ideas?

I had a similar problem and this post response by Jim at https://www.tapspace.com/forums/index.php?topic=3616.0

helped remind me of what to check.  Also, for future reference, include more specific info like your computer specs, etc.

There are several people on here that are really good at helping you but we need specific info to pinpoint the problem.

Thanks for reading my post! I'm sorry that I was not very thorough in my system specs. It is very embarrassing to say, but VDL was not registered so when the trial was up I lost the ability to use it. It is registered now! It slipped my mind when I bought this new laptop and reinstalled VDL and the Kontakt Player. Thanks for your help! This is very much a ";Did you plug it in before you press the power button?"; moment.
