[b]In the VST instrument page, I'm trying to select the kontakt player in the drop down box but its not showing the name in the menu, i copied and pasted it to the finale vst folder like i was suppose to but nothing is showing up in the drop box, can someone please tell me what i did wrong, I'm running finale b and vdl 2.5..... please i need help!!!![/b]

There's no need to post entirely in bold. I think it's obvious that help is needed :) Proper grammar, punctuation, and capitalization is appreciated as well.

Have you restarted Finale since you copied the VST file over? Are you sure you copied the correct file?
