I updated to:
Sibelius 6.1.0 build 14
VDL 2.5.2
Template 6.0a
KP 2.2.4 001

Many thanks to Bill for pointing my in the right directions.  However, maybe you can help me out so I won't have to keep pestering him!

My Concert Band Combo only plays one instance of an instrument regardless of what note I play on the keyboard (M-Audio KeyRig 49).  For example, it will only play one kind of hand cymbal crash and one concert snare sound no matter what key I use.

Not really having too many other issues....your advice would be appreciated.

Hey Kent,

Are you sure that your soundset is set to VDL Soundset 6.0a in the Playback Devices?

That would be my first question as well. It's a common mistake to select the ";Virtual Drumline 2.5"; soundset by accident.

I guess I haven't loaded it correctly.  My choices are VDL Soundset 6.0 and VDL 2.5

Sounds like you didn't move the .xml file in to the Sounds folder yet.

Both the 6.0 and 6.0a XML files are in this folder:

C:\Program Files\Sibelius Software\Sibelius Sounds

Do I need to delete the 6.0?

No, you can leave both in there.  Have you restarted Sibelius since you installed the update?

Yes, restarted twice and rebooted once.
