Boundary Microphones

Has anyone here experimented with boundary Microphones in the front ensemble? If you are curious what one is, then click on the link below. . . But I thought I would ask and see if anyone had an opinion.

Well, where would you put it? Typical boundary mic applications involve mounting on the front edge of a stage or on the top of a desk/pulpit/altar. To work properly there needs to be a hard surface (a boundary) underneath the mic.
I would put it on a small mount below the instrument. :-) Oh and I was not intending on using the microphone for the purpose in which is was designed. Just wanted to know if anyone had played with this yet. :-)
