I want to use the timpani gliss with Finale 2011b.  But the different notes (gliss up, gliss down, gliss roll) are assigned to different midi notes, so you can't just enter the note like you would for regular timpani.  I tried to create a new percussion midi map, but I couldn't find the timpani gliss in the list of midi map devices to use. 

How do you do the notation and playback for the timpani gliss?  (It seems like it is a pitched percussion instrument that needs a percussion midi map.)

I have a PC with Windows 7, FInale 2011b.
