Is it possible to use vdl 2 with finale 2011? I just bought the new version and didn't think about not having vdl 2.5. Any suggestions besides buying 2.5 lol?

VDL:2 came with a much earlier rendition of Kontakt Player which hasn't been supported for a while. Of course, you could always just try it, but even if it loads, you may find your options limited with the Finale templates.

Well everything is working good (took a few hours to get it to work)... The question I have is that when I look at kontact player before I hit play, it looks great. However, when I press play, the volume resets to default and the fade ( left/center/right) goes all the way to the left.. Any ideas on this?

I even tried saving my own sound and it didn't work

Are you working with a Tapspace Finale template file or a file of your own, or some one else, creation? If they are older files there may be some hidden midi data.

Brand new created Finale file. However, I am not using the template, just loaded the library etc..
