Ok, I'm going to show my ignorance here but what the hell we're all friends....haha.
I use VDL2.5 and Sibelius 6 (love it by the way). I see a lot of stuff from Avid re: Pro Tools. I was wondering -- what could ProTools do for me and my arrangements? What is it used for? What stuff could I do with ProTools that I can't do with my current stuff? I'm 'pro tools stupid' haha.
Thanks in advance!

Pro Tools is a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) that can be used for audio recording and editing, MIDI sequencing and editing, mixing, and other tasks useful for music production.
Many Sibelius/Finale users will utilize a DAW for more intricate MIDI editing and audio processing once your score is finished. While it is certainly possible to do many of these tasks in a notation program, it can be easier and more flexible to do so in a DAW.
