What are your go-to pieces or publishers? What are your must play pieces? Where do you find your new stuff? General thoughts on HS Ensemble Literature?
Just looking to expand my horizons and prepare for a few interviews. :)

Let me rephrase that. I'm familiar with the Rowloff, Tapspace and drop6 catalogs.
Please continue beyond that. ;)

C-Alan has some good stuff. I have been using Nathan Daughtrey quite a bit. I usually hear my new literature at Midwest or PAS (when I attend). I wish more literature was written for schools without a 5-octave marimba. Seems like you have to have a 5-octave to play anything recent.

Pieces that I like that are a little older, but still worthwhile: Afro-Amero, Highlife - Phil Faini Stained Glass, Concerto for Percussion - David Gillingham Prelude and Dance - Ronald LoPresti Portico, Past Midnight - Tom Gauger Diabolic Variations - Raymond Helble Crown of Thorns, Montana Music, Arcadia II - David Maslanka

Thanks guys, I appreciate the recommendations. I am looking both to expand my knowledge beyond the ";big 3"; and bolster my knowledge for an interview tomorrow.

My middle school kids recently played
Tango Argentine - By Beth Gotleib and loved it!
Odd Duck by Brian Slawson is one of my new go to pieces. Great piece for teaching odd meter, timbre and texture.

There's also a cool new site a friend of mine has been working hard on for this very topic - finding cool new percussion music! Check it out at: http://www.percussionmusiconline.com/
