I'm sure Bryan or Jim will be able to answer this in about 5 seconds. Let's hope that's the case!!!!
FYI, I have done a search, as best I can, of all the documentation I currently have on Sibelius as well as VDL, and the templates. :-)
I'm working on a marching band score that was emailed to me. Bryan was kind enough to help me with instruction on how to import the VDL settings from my template into the score, which is ";in progress,"; that was emailed to me. It worked beautifully. I was able to add battery staves, with VDL sounds implemented perfectly.
I have run into an issue that I can't seem to resolve.
My bass drum unisons are not playing back correctly. I'm using the bassline manual lite. All of the Right Hand hits are silent during playback, and the Left Hand hits are playing back correctly. According to the Properties window, the Right Hand hit noteheads that are being assigned automatically is notehead # 31. According to the Mapping Diagrams in the Read Me file that came with the template, it's supposed to be # 46. The Left Hand hits are automatically being assigned notehead # 48. This sound is coming through, but it's strange because according to the Mapping Diagrams in the Read Me file that came with the template, notehead # 48 is supposed to be a ";Crush,"; yet the sound coming out is a unison sound. I manually changed the notehead to what the Mapping Diagram shows, which is # 47, and the playback then came back silent.
Which version of the templare you using? When Sibelius 6 came out, it was discovered that the original notehead used for L hand unisons (It think, don't have the documentation in front of me) used notehead 28, which was changed to a silent comp notehead.
If you're using the most current version of the template you shouldn't have any issues with the playback of bass drum unisons.

Well the name of the file is Perc Score Template 2010. This is the template file I used to export, and then import into the score that was already in progress. I haven't run into any issues with the snare or tenor voice yet. I also checked other scores I'm working on, using the exact same template, and I'm not having the silent bass unison issues on that either.
I've also tried saving the document, closing down Sibelius, and starting it back up again. That didn't fix the issue either.
The Key Map pdf, as well as the read me pdf, all say 6.0a in the file name.
As far as I know, I have the most up to date Template. I've been using this template with Sibelius 6 for a few months now. This is the first time this has happened. It's also the first time I've ever exported the house style, and imported it into another score.
Wait a second.....I think I know what the issue might be. If my memory serves me correctly, the score I'm using, which I got from someone else, was created with Sibelius 5. I opened it however with Sibelius 6.
Do you think this may be part of the problem?

Yes. Not so much that it may have come from Sib 5, but more that it came from someone else. Do you know exactly what all the settings were in the file before you tried to import the 6.0a House Style into it? The file you received from the other person, did it originate from VDL Template 5.2.5? Or was it just created from one of the default Sibelius manuscript papers?

Sounds to me that in each file involved in the export/import House Style process the notehead definitions were not absolutely identical. When this happens, Sibelius will see that they are different and try to compensate for it by adding new noteheads to make up for the discrepancies. You mentioned that the Bass RH hits were #31, that's nowhere near what it should be - and yes, it should be #46.
In the problem file, how many noteheads are in the Edit Noteheads list? Go to House Style > Edit Noteheads, scroll down to the bottom. What is the number of the last one in the list?

If you want, you can send me all three files you've been working with and I'll take a look at them to see if I can tell what's going on. I sent you a PM.
