I am sure that this has been covered before, but I have been unsuccessful in finding it. I am trying to get Sibelius 7 and Virtual Drumline 2.5 to work together on my Mac and I have been unsuccessful. I have installed (and working) Sibelius 7 as well as installed Virtual Drumline 2.5, however when I go to create a sound set to use in the template, Sibelius does not show that I have VDL installed. What do I need to do to rectify this? It does not even show Kontakt player, which I installed directly from the DVD of VDL. Thanks for any help.
If you're not seeing Kontakt Player in your Sibelius 7 playback devices, you probably aren't able to even get to the point of selecting a sound set. You won't see anything VDL-related unless you've first activated an instance of Kontakt Player.
What version of Kontakt Player are you using? Are you on a Mac or a PC? Do you know if you're running in 32bit or 64bit mode? If you're in 32bit mode, you should be able to see Kontakt Player 2. However, it's recommended that you run Kontakt Player 4 if you're using Sibelius 7. If you don't have KP4, please submit a support ticket on the Tapspace site and someone can help get you up-and-running.
If you're using a VDL Template from The Write Score, they should be able to help get you going if you're running into problems with your sound set/template files.

I'm on Mac. I just downloaded the Kontakt 5 update. Where would I select the 32 bit vs 64 bit mode? I will submit a support ticket on the Tapspace site.

To launch an app in 32-bit mode, click on the app, select ";get info";, then click the box that says ";Open in 32-bit mode."; Next time you launch the program, it'll be in 32-bit mode.
