I know it's a Finale question, but it seems to not be working with VDL. I'm writing aux. parts, where I have to switch channels frequently. I define a staff style for that sound and apply it to the staff, enter the program change, and then enter the notes. Notes do not map as they should. I had the same problem in the fall, and I ended up just handing out parts with notes all over the place.

Can anyone help with this?

This may depend on whether you're using a Finale VDL template from The Write Score. Have you mentioned this to them yet?
