Set Play On Pass (compatible with Sibelius 5, 6, and 7) This plugin can quickly toggle, turn OFF, or turn ON any or all of the eight ";play on pass"; checkboxes found in the Properties > Playback window. Unchecking ";play on pass"; is often necessary for certain text that would otherwise trigger VDL-related actions, and for certain notes (like the release notes on roles) that may be desired in notation but not for playback.
Rehearsal Recordings Plugin (compatible with Sibelius 6 and 7) I experimented with this last year but didn't have much luck. It sounds very promising, though, so I need to spend more time with it.
Fixed Plugins Shortcut plugin (compatible with Sibelius 4, 5, 6, and 7, for Windows only)
As you may know, Sibelius plugins are assigned numerical values associated with keyboard shortcuts, meaning that if you assign a keyboard shortcut to a plugin, then install an additional plugin, your keyboard shortcut will have to be reassigned to continue to function. This plugin allows the simple assignment of up to 26 plugins to a quick-access shortcut menu. So, for example, if I assign this plugin to ALT+p via Sibelius' standard shortcut menu, I then have access to 26 shortcut slots, one per letter in the alphabet. So far I've assigned a few plugins that I use routinely, such as Reduce, Set Play On Pass, and Crescendo/Decrescendo. So all I have to do to reduce something is copy the material to be reduced, click on a staff where I am reducing to, press ALT+p, press ";r";, and press ENTER.
