I have searched this issue several different ways and can't find an answer, plus it really seems like a Kontakt problem, not VDL. BUT, here's my deal:
I migrated my from an old mac to a new iMac using the migration assistant. Since the hard drives have different names, I am trying to reassign the library path in Kontakt. I opened KontaktPlayer 2 standalone and was able to point to the correct location. It told me to restart the application. When I do, the path reverts to the old location. This happens in KontaktPlayer 2, in Sibelius when I go in through there. UGH!
I'm trying to get updated to 2.5.1, then 2.5.2, but the 2.5.1 installer wont proceed without a valid install of 2.5, which it can't find because it won't save my path adjustments.
I'm on a 2011 iMac running Lion 10.7.4.
Thanks guys!
Steve

Hey Steve,
Yeah, the Migration Assistant can be handy, but has a way of mucking things up in certain cases. I'll send you an email with some more specific suggestions that should help get you on track.
