OK, this is embarrassing. I consider myself a well-versed percussionist, yet I am not certain of the difference (other than sound) between an ";Earth Plate"; and ";Hit Earth"; on the Metallic Rack Combo Instrument in VDL. Anyone?

I believe the two sounds in the Metal Combo read ";Earth Plate Hit"; and ";Earth Plate Scrape"; (from the VDL 2.5 User Guide, page 99).
