VDL 2.5.5 Installation issue.

Hello,
I finished the installation but its as if there are no sounds to be played.  There is also a red signal that appear in stand alone mode. I've attached a screenshot.  Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Johnathan
This may mean your library folder isn't fully populated. You may want to include a screenshot of the contents of your VDL library folder.

Also, what happens if you click the ";Purge"; menu and select ";reload all samples?";
When I clicked the reload all samples, Kontakt crashed.  I tried this process twice.

Here is a screenshot of the folder.

Thanks again for your help.
Your library folder looks fine. Thanks for the screenshot.

Hmm - it might not be a bad idea to reinstall Kontakt. If you continue seeing crashes, contact Native Instruments support.
I just reinstalled.  The crash no longer happens but there is still no sound.  I think when I deleted the old file i may have deleted something i needed.  Also, i noticed i still have the 2.2 update. Do i need to delete that as well?

Thanks
If you've purchased the VDL 2.5.5 update (recommended), it includes installation instructions which explains all the files that should be present for a successful installation. If all else fails, you may want to reinstall your VDL library as well.
Thanks for the idea.  I reinstalled the library and i made some progress, however I dont know how to solve it.  I attached a screen shot. It says i am missing the sample.  I thought that was what I just reinstalled but I could be wrong.
When you reinstalled the library, did you copy the three .nkx files into the library folder? The installation instructions should elaborate on this. If not, you'll definitely get that ";samples missing"; message.

If you continue having problems, it may be best to fill out a support ticket and someone can help you in more detail.
Thank you so much for you help Mr. Casella. I did delete the entire VDL Library from my mac. I cleaned my cpu earlier this year and thought it was a smart idea to put all the VDL files in one place.  I got it out the trash and everything works perfectly.  Thank so much for your help with the issue.
