Which notation program are you using? When you say 'edit', do you mean within Kontakt or your notation program?

The 10-bass instrument was new to VDL 2.5.5. I believe that you must be using the TWS template 7.0a in order to gain access to the new instruments that were part of the VDL 2.5.5 update. You can verify which version of the template you're using in Sibelius by hitting the ";I"; key to open the Instrument dialog, and then clicking the ";Choose from"; menu on the left to see which version of the VDL template is listed there.

I tried to add them myself but there are only 6 ";bass hit"; sounds in the bass line 10 instrument.

You would have to get the sound set fixed up first before editing the instrument in Sibelius.

It's money well spent to get the latest VDL template for Sibelius. Then the 10-bass instrument will work as designed without any further messing around.

I loaded the 7.0 template and can see all 10 bass voices. It works but I cannot save instrument edits. I want to arrange 8 bass in a logical order on the stave but the changes don't save ..they just revert back to default.
