Wrong samples being played

I was working on a score for marching band in Sibelius 7.5 and I wanted to switch from marimba to 18"; Constantinople suspended cymbal. I made the change correctly and suspended cymbal sounds were being made, so I hit Eb5 on my MIDI controller to enter a sustained roll muted at the end. However, when I played it back, it started playing a long crescendo roll (allowed to vibrate at the end). I double checked the note head type and position with the VDL Template map for suspended cymbals, and it was all correct. When I checked Kontakt Player, it had just loaded in a 15"; Zildjian cymbal.

This was all on my laptop (specs in my signature). When I switched over to my desktop with 10GB RAM, Windows 7 Home Premium, and an Intel Core i7-3770 3.4GHz processor, I opened the exact same .sib file and the sound played back exactly as intended - a sustained 18"; Constantinople SusCym roll with a muted release.

Any ideas why my laptop would never play the correct sample?
Hmm... if re-installing did not solve the playback issue, I do not know what to do at this point. It played back correctly on my machine and on your other one.

If I do think of something, I'll let you know.
Thank you, Hugh, for all your help, and everyone else who replied. I've just solved the problem, and to be frank, I feel like quite an idiot, but I'll post what happened anyway so people with a similar problem can see.

Early on, I set all the instances of Kontakt to what I believed to be the ";VDL Soundset"; referenced initially. However, it was the ";Virtual Drumline 2.5"; soundset, which consists of the small selection of samples Sibelius has by default. I double checked the list and realized that the ";VDL SoundSet 7.0a"; was the correct one, the one I'd totally skimmed over the first time around.
Ah yes, that'll do it. And for the record, I apparently forgot to ask you to post a screen shot of your Playback Configuration. (I'm usually good about that. :( )

Also, if anyone else is curious, the ";Virtual Drumline 2.5"; sound set that ships with Sibelius (since Sib 5.2) is for the full version of Virtual Drumline 2.5.0. Keep in mind though, today's VDL Template is designed to work with VDL 2.5.5, which has a much different / custom sound set included - as well as all the other cool tweaks I've made since the first iteration of the Template.
