I KNOW THIS IS A DUMB QUESTION--I GUESS I AM A DUMB GUY.

I HAVE VDL 2.5.5 AND THE VDL FINALE TEMPLATE FROM WRITESCORE ON A MAC USING FINALE V25.

I HAVE EVERYTHING INSTALLED ACCORDING TO THE VDL DEMYSTIFIED VIDEO.

I WANT TO USE THE VDL TEMPLATE TO CREATE CONCERT BAND SCORES. HOW DO I DO THIS? I AM ASSUMING THAT I AM TO USE THE "DEFAULT" TEMPLATE.

I GUESS WHAT IM ASKING IS HOW TO I USE THE VDL TEMPLATE TO CREATE A CONCERT BAND SCORE COMPLETE WITH WINDS AND PERCUSSION?

Jon,

You may use any of the templates. All that is needed is to add the appropriate instruments to the file. I strongly suggest you review both the ReadMe files that are included with the templates package and the Finale tutorials.

Also, please try not to use all caps when posting messages. It gives the appearance of shouting.

The templates ReadMe files will help a bit in getting you started. I think reviewing Finale tutorials for adding new instruments will be more beneficial.
