Diddle Articulation changing Quad tones during playback

Hello! I came across this issue recently and have tried everything I can think of, please help me.
All of a sudden when I add the diddle articulation to a note on quads, it plays back a completely different drum tone. I've never had this issue before and changed nothing about my specs. I'm not sure if it's a Finale issue, or VDL issue, or Kontakt issue etc.. The articulation itself in Finale says it has no effect on playback and I didn't mess with the quads preset in Kontakt. Everything is linked correctly.
I'm using Finale 25, VDL 2.5.5, and Kontakt 5.
If anyone has any insight as to what is going on and/or how to fix this, I would really appreciate it! Thank you!
