The people at Dorico have produced a nice little video dealing specifically with using Virtual Drumline battery instruments in Dorico. This should be super helpful for anyone wanting to figure all this stuff out

He states in the video that they have more percussion maps for more VDL instruments, all you need to do is send them an email.
