Released in Fall 2024, the Virtual Drumline 2.5.6 Library Update is designed for Kontakt 5.8 or greater. This is primarily a maintenance release which improves compatibility with Native Access 2, as well as Kontakt v7+.

HOW TO OBTAIN THE 2.5.6 LIBRARY UPDATE
2.5.5 USERS
If you purchased a full, downloadable version of Virtual Drumline, between 2012-2024, you most likely have the 2.5.5 version and you may download the 2.5.6 library immediately. Simply follow our installation instructions using the same download code that you received when you purchased your product, and the latest version will be downloaded.
If you purchased a 2.5.5 library update/replacement, simply follow our installation instructions using the same download code that you received when you purchased the update/replacement, and the 2.5.6 version will be downloaded.
Once you've re-downloaded your product, you'll know it's the 2.5.6 version by the name of the library folder.

PRE-2.5.5 USERS
Purchase the VDL 2.5 Update/Replacement (v2.5.6). We offer this at a nominal $15 cost which gives you ongoing downloadable access, and incorporates all the improvements made in v2.5.5 and 2.5.6. You must be a registered version of Virtual Drumline 2.5 to qualify for this purchase. Once your order is processed, you will receive an email with your download code and instructions for installing.

VDL:2 USERS
VDL:2 was discontinued in 2007 and there is no longer a way to migrate to VDL 2.5 at a discount. VDL:2 users will have to purchase a new VDL 2.5 license as it is considered a fully new product, and comes with its own new serial number format.
